Im posting this becuase activity is low on this site and this sound like a neat area but unfortunatly on private land west of Red Bluff CA.
Im a member of the 4x4trailhunters.com forum as well and this thread describes a waterfall that is hidden through what sound like a passage way and also possibly contains undisturbed dinasour bones.

That waterfall sounds really fascinating. It's great to hear stories like this about places that you might otherwise never find out about. The one downside in this case is that the waterfall is on private property.
Any other four wheel drive enthusiasts have any stories of unusual or particularly interesting places you've visited or heard about?
