Hey Chris,
I thought you might be interested to know about some stuff I found out about Rockwall, Texas.
Im pretty sure I sent you the following link where you can read about the wall found near this town:
http://www.rockwallfoundation.org/

Well,
I called down to Rockwall to get details, and apparently sometime back during excavation of part of the wall(pictures are on the site above), the wall "collapsed". I spoke with the president of the chamber of commerce who was very kind, but couldn't seem to answer some questions, such as:
1) Where was and How could I examine the excavation site?
2) What of all the debris? Could this be examined?
3) What of the mysterious "metal ring" found embedded in the wall? (see pictures on above website)

I will probably drive up around Rockwall within the next month sometime and see if i can get more information.
Im worried somewhat, however, reminded of an equally interesting Polynesian-like furnace structure found in Oklahoma awhile back...
One day, overnight, someone bulldozed the entire site.
All of you readers should google for this and check out some of the articles.
I will post again when I find out more.
Best to all,
styrmstread
