Choosing what type of camera to use is a personal choice. Personally, I didn’t want to bring a lot of camera equipment with me and I also didn’t want to bring roles and roles of film. So for me, the choice to go digital was a simple one.

I wanted a compact and lightweight camera with at least a 3X zoom and 5 megapixels. The greater the number of megapixels, the larger and more detailed your photos will be. I got my camera at the beginning of 2003 and already there are a lot of other digital cameras that are even smaller and lighter in weight.
